Hacker Café

Date: May 19, 2010

Underskog

Facebook event

Time: 1900 - 2400

It is my pleasure to announce that Linuxbrigaden will host an informal hacker café at Humla next Wednesday, the 19th of May from 19:00 to about 23:00. The event is open for all members && the interested public (that includes you appeltons and windoze hax0rs too).

This time we'll keep it fairly low key, the café being a platform for the informal exchange of ideas, the opportunity to meet likeminded people and of course to have a little fun and maybe learn or teach something cool.

Here are some of the unplanned activities that might break out on this occasion: - wargames - 0bfuscation - infrastructure monitoring - hacks'n'cracks - lockpicking - network patching + how-to-roll-a-cable + etherkillers - how-to-host-an-internet-service - putting piece-of-shit-hardware to good use - computer giveaways - brownbagging and joe-jobbing - pwnage - chess - global thermonuclear war ... but it depends on what and who you bring, it might just all be talk and quake deathmatches :-)

feel free to "grab" an activity --- already today!

There will be music and at the very least a screensaver on the projector, as well as some light and notsolight refreshments (* coffee'n'crackers NOT punch'n'pie). Bringing a small portable computer is not required but you sure are allowed to.

If anyone feels inspired they should feel free to adlib an activity, also if you want to help out by cooking, greeting, wrecking or cleanup please let me know so I can spot you as a member of the 31337 crew.
